Welcome. . .Welcome to Dandy Acres Angus 22nd Annual Production Sale!

In both 2018 and 2019, we had to postpone due to April blizzards. This year, due to the global pandemic are moving to a Private Treaty format. These last few years have challenged us all, to say the least, but, we are determined to roll with the punches and hope you will join us!

Our 2020 offering includes opportunities to purchase genetics of top ABS sires, a deep set of open heifers, as well as, bred cows. We continue our work to tighten our calving season in an effort to produce a more uniform bull crop. Therefore, the bred cows selling are not culls - rather cows that are bred later than what is working in our breeding program today. Our loss is your gain.

With social distancing in mind, our goal is to offer folks an opportunity to sort through the offering privately. Call for a appointment between April 6-14; or stop by unannounced April 15 - 17 as cattle will be on display from 10am - 6pm those days. Bidding will end at 5pm on Friday, April 17. As we close out each lot, will contact contending bidders. As always, we will house bulls purchased until July 1st at no charge, but they will be semen tested and ready to go sale day. We ask that any females purchased are picked up as soon as you can.

Terms: Terms are cash or check payable before cattle will be released. All animals will be sold in accordance with the rules and regulations of the American Angus Association.

Guarantee: All bulls have been semen tested and examined to be sound and guaranteed breeders for the first breeding season.

Herd Health: All cattle will be sold in compliance with the health laws of the State of Minnesota. Health papers will be provided.

Delivery: -- Bulls purchased may be housed, free of charge, at Dandy Acres Angus through July 1, 2020 where they can be picked up at your convenience. Free delivery is available before May 1, 2020. -- Females purchased need to be picked up as soon as possible.

To maintain a tight calving season, we are offering this select group of bred females.

Selling approximately 15 head of bred heifers/cows or cow/calf pairs.

• Expected calving dates April 1 - May 31, 2020.

• Females range in age from 2014 to bred heifers.

• Both purebred and commercial cows will be offered, but all will sell as commercial. Registration papers available on registered females for an additional $300. Pedigrees will be obtainable sale day.

• If not already with calf at side, Dandy Acres will calve out your purchase for $3/day feed and yardage, plus $100 per live calf. We ask that pairs are picked up as soon as possible after calving.

• Females will be sorted in small groups by age.
