DANGEROUS GOODS
SAFETYADVISER Many companies involved in the transport of Dangerous Goods have a legal obligation to appoint a Dangerous Goods Ad-viser.
This legislation applies to shippers, hauliers, forwarders, integrators and others involved with Dangerous Goods.
The functions of a DGSA (Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser) is to monitor and advise on compliance, in regard to the rules, concerning the transportation of Dangerous Goods and the preparation of an annual report.
Trident’s DGSA course aims to pre-pare delegates, to sit the detailed and time constrained Dangerous Goods Safety Adviser examination.
Our DGSA course is set over five full days. Four consecutive days cover the main body of the course and the 5th day is reserved for pre-test exami-nation, questions and answers. The cost of the course is €1500.00 per person.Delegates will require the current ADR Regulation Volume I & II as part of the course literature, to sit the course and the examination.
The State Examination consists of three papers; The Core, Mode and Classes papers. Delegates must pass all three papers to qualify as a DGSA. The DGSA Exam is an open book examination. The Qualification is valid for five years.
