Carlisle Bay The beach at Carlisle Bay is one of the island's most perfect examples:
a 500m-long crescent beach of impeccably clean white sand within a secluded bay. This means the water remains calm, while the rainforest and coconut grove behind provide further shelter. One end of the beach is reserved for the Beach Suites favored by families, the far end for couples and adults. This is also where you will find Gwendolyn who runs a stall selling local goods near the Jetty Bar.
At Carlisle Bay, our secluded, turquoise pool is located behind the beach. There is a gently shelving shallow end for kids (making it a great place to learn to swim) and sun loungers shaded by both umbrellas and palms. Explaining such culinary creations as lobster risotto or red snapper on a bed of local vegetables in a light reduction broth, the classes cost $US 70 and include lunch and a specially selected bottle of wine from our cellar.

This tour begins in an off-road 4 x 4 to Antigua's North Coast, passing through the scenic countryside and by historic sites including Betty's Hope Plantation.
