Brief biography

Danny Yount is a self taught graphic designer who has been recognized internationally for his work in feature film and television main titles. He has earner an Emmy for the Six Feet Under opening sequence and has been elected into the Alliance Graphique Internationale and is currently serving as a Creative Director at Prologue Films, directing the titles for many films and TV series’, including, Pushing Daisies, Iron Man and Sherlock Holmes. When asked how he got into making title sequences, he replied ‘I was a web designer for a long time and I really got tired of that. I discovered animation during that time. When I saw main titles I got really fired up and it was just one of those kind of instinctive things.’
