Danubius Gellert Hotel Budapest -main staircase windows The beautiful stained glass windows on the main stairs at the Gellert Hotel. Designed by Bozó Gyula, in 1992 the Gellert commissioned Milan Stanišić II of the Art Glass Studio Stanišić (pronounced - Stan-ee-shitch) in time for them to be completed and installed for the 1100th anniversary of the founding of the Hungarian Nation in 1996. The panels depict the epic 'The Legend of the Wondrous Hunt' as told by the Hungarian poet Arany János. The poem is a mystical account of the founding of the Hungarian Nation. The panels are meant to be read starting from the ground floor and finishing at the top floor.
