Silkscreen print is the most commonly used finishing technique when it comes to individualizing our bags and backpacks. Here a rubber squegee presses the colour through a micromeshed grid onto the material. Then the printed colour is dried in a continuous dryer. Therefore, the prints are resistant and have a greater durability.

Digital printing implies that a computer transfers your motif to a printing machine, which then prints it on a special type of tarpaulin. The most suitable motifs for digital prints are photos and motifs with extremely fine colour gradients. As the material is printed before sewing, the modular construction system e.g. of our original LorryBag® offers huge advantages for this printing technique.

With a digitally printed label it is possible to place finely detailed prints even on difficult areas. Usually the techniques used for this kind of prints, especially in digital printing, allow only the application of such a motif on the material itself. But HALFAR® has the answer: a digitally printed label which is applied on an already complete bag. These labels can either be embroidered on a bag or sewn on belts.

Transfer printing allows you to decorate our bags and backpacks with even finely resolved motifs. Here the motif is firstly printed on a special substrate material. Then it is transferred to the bag by means of heat exposure and pressure. The advantage is that the print is very resistant to UV radiation and other environmental influences. At HALFAR®, we use screen or digital print, depending on your motif, for the realization of transfer prints.

Sublimation print is a printing process where your logo firstly is transferred to a special paper by the use of sublimation ink. Afterwards, a press evaporates (sublimates) the dye into the carrier. This results in intense and brilliant colours. Furthermore, it is UV and weather proof. Our sublimation bags are available in two different sizes and the flaps can be exchanged.

embroidery

Whether extravagant pictures or simple letterings: bags and backpacks with a personal embroidery look high-quality and individual. Embroidery can be used for almost all motifs. A software translates your motif into a program which defines the type, length and density of the stitch as well as the colours. At HALFAR®, we use highly contemporary multihead embroidery machines that are able to process up to 15 colours simultaneously.

Domings are generally printed digitally, either on a piece of paper or a foil. A separately applied resin layer forms the so-called „Dome“ and thus creates the three-dimensional impression. Domings have a high-quality look and offer you maximum flexibility. They can be placed remarkably on certain bags with for example pendants or on metal emblems.

laser engraving

Laser engraving is effective and simple at the same time: a laser engraves your individual motifs into the felt. The precision and contour definition give this decoration technique an exclusi-ve and noble look. Laser engraving is available in different sizes.

embossing

HALFAR® offers two options. Blind embossing does not need any ink. A die presses your logo onto the material which results in an elegant, high-quality and deepened look. By the use of colour embossing a thin foil coated with a layer of dye is placed between the embossing dies and the material to be decorated. Then heat and pres-sure are embossing the coloured theme on the material.
