Start this experiment when you are at normal condition.

Clip the pulse sensor on your finger.

Connect the pulse sensor to data logger.

Start the data logger to obtain the graph about 3 minute.

Running for a few minutes as warming up.

Start the data logger while you are running and obtain a 3 minutes graph.

Observed the changes of graph.

What do you observe after the two people with different weight run?

How their heart rate change? What is the pattern of their graph after

exercise? What are the relation between your body weight

with the exercise you have done? What other factors that affect our heart beat to

be different?

Their breathing become faster. Their heart rate change after exercise. The person which is lighter in weight show

lower heart beat than the heavier person. More heavier the person is, more higher his/

her heart rate. Gender, age, sickness of that particular person,

etc…

• Adventured activities such as bungee jumping and kayak increase our heart rate. Why?

We can see the changes of heart beat within seconds by taking reading 10 times per seconds.

Results obtained in experiment by using data logging is more accurate than we counted ourselves.

Heart beat per minutes and the velocity of heart beat are clearly shown in graph.
