StrengthsHendricks Elementary School consistently scores comparatively to the district and state when it comes to Reading, ELA, and Math portions of the CRCT.

Hendricks Elementary School usually has 80 to 90 percent of 3rd, 4th, and 5th graders meeting or exceeding standards on Reading, ELA, and Math portions of the CRCT.

Needs ImprovementThe percent of 3rd grade students at Hendricks Elementary School who meet or exceed standards in Science and Social Studies is usually slightly below that of the district and state. The percent of 4th and 5th grade students at Hendricks Elementary School who meet or exceed standards in Science and Social Studies is well below that of the district and state. This data shows that Science and Social Studies are both areas of improvement for grades 3, 4, and 5.

What now?The question we, the faculty of Hendricks Elementary School, need to ask ourselves is:

What steps do we need to take to improve Science and Social Studies instruction so that students are able to make appropriate gains?

Thank you!
