SAP NetWeaver Information Lifecycle Management (SAP NetWeaver ILM) is a new SAP component that supports the administration
of data over its entire lifecycle - from collection through processing right up to locking and deletion. Through the administration of
sets of rules and service levels in the context of applications, metadata, information and data, SAP ILM aligns the data with your
business processes.
The demand for information lifecycle management has greatly increased over recent years. The principal reasons for this development
are the requirements resulting from legal regulations, the growing trend towards harmonisation and consolidation of system lands-
capes, and the perspective of the total cost of ownership (TCO). SAP NetWeaver ILM is oriented towards these factors and thus forms
the basis for efficient administration of your information.
The Natuvion team supports you with your SAP ILM project *** from the concept phase through the introduction phase and we would
be delighted to assist with the subsequent maintenance of the solution. In particular with the individual specifications of industrial
requirements, Natuvion supports you with its process-specific expertise.
*** The SAP NetWeaver ILM component requires a license and, on receipt of the license via the Switch Framework (transaction SFW5),
the component must be activated. The minimum requirement is an installation of SAP NetWeaver 7.0 Enhancement Package 1.
