The Department of Mathematics and Statistics at the University of Saskatchewan welcome you to
Saskatoon! We are pleased to announce that the University of Saskatchewan will hold its inaugural
Data Science Bootcamp from June 10-21, 2019.
The University of Saskatchewan’s main campus is situated on Treaty 6 Territory and the
Homeland of the Métis. The University of Saskatchewan is located in Saskatoon, Saskatchewan,
a city with a diverse and thriving economic base, a vibrant arts community and a full range of
leisure opportunities. The University has a reputation for excellence in teaching, research and

"glmnet", "lar", "RandomForest", "rpart", "SIS", and "tilting".
T3. Data Visualization Install the followings in your laptop.
1. Anaconda*
To install Anaconda, visit: https://www.anaconda.com/distribution/
Select appropriate operating system - Windows, Linux, MacOS
Download and Install python 3.7 version
* This will automatically install python, Jupyter notebook and basic libraries in your laptop.
2. Paraview**
To install Paraview, visit: https://www.paraview.org/download/
Select appropriate operating system - Windows, Linux, MacOS
Download and Install ParaView-5.6 version
** This will be helpful for the visualization of scientific data
