INTERNET SAFETY

Internet safety is always high on the agenda at Great Eccleston Copp CE School.

We have extensive security measures in place, which are constantly measured

both internally and externally to prevent our pupils from coming across any

potential dangers or accessing suitable material but also giving them strategies to

cope with this, if they do.

Your help is still needed to prevent children accessing inappropriate material at

home by way of filters, parental control and understanding what your child is

using the internet for.

The website below offers help and advice for parents and carers.

SCHOOL MEALS

If your child would like to start school meals then please

get in touch. Daily cost is £2.20 payable weekly/termly in

advance.

From 1st September 2014 ALL KS1 children are entitled to a free school meal

under the UIFSM scheme.

Please may we ask that if your child is on school meals and wants to stop and go on

to packed lunches, we do need two weeks notice, as food is ordered well in

advance and to allow for administrative changes.

Welfare/Income Based Free School Meals

If your child is entitled to statutory free school meals, based on the household

income, the school will receive over £1000 in extra funding to support them in

school, even if they don’t take the meals. To check your eligibility please ring

01524 581207 with your National Insurance number for an instant decision.
