danda upadi se nyara rahe

Salutations to Guruji in the form of a pandit (spiritiual teacher), who is singing the Vedas, hold-ing the rod as a symbol of authority and punishment, is freed from all distress.

Urdha-vahana tapasya kare

Salutations to the Guruji in the form of the Rishi, who is drinking pure cow's milk and is observ-ing austerities at Urdvaham.

Naga nirbhaya tapasya kare

Salutations to Guruji in the form of a naked God meditating without fear, inhaling the aromatic vapour, or smoke, as heat.
