Dear Principal Aparna

My heartiest congratulations for the outstand-ing CBSE result 2020. This is a testimony to the tireless efforts and dedicated commitment of the staff and the students. With 180 students out of 320, in class XII and 140 students out of 311, in class X scoring above 90%, the result is stupendous! I convey my heartfelt greetings to the young scholars, their parents and the staff for this brilliant achievement. We felicitate the meritorious students of class XII who have done extremely well, especially those scoring 90% and above, as we have been doing every year.

Your school is counted amongst the illustrious schools of the country and the credit goes to your leadership and the dedicated persever-ance of your staff and students, for maintaining the parameters of excellence. They deserve special thanks. I have always held that the school has the most important role to play in imparting not only knowledge, but also, values and social skills. Our focus is on moulding the students into good human beings as dissemi-nated in the teachings of Swami Dayanand. We

cannot emphasize enough the significance of experience and experiential learning in devel-oping a child’s personality. In the present sce-nario, like everything else, education is also ‘global’. Education tools and pedagogy defy geographical boundaries and have a universal appeal. I’m happy to note that your school has kept abreast with the latest technology in im-parting online education.

It is commendable that the school has fulfilled

its responsibility in creating wholesome, well

rounded personalities, with a great value sys-

tem and a sound social and emotional quotient.

Even in these challenging times of the Covid

pandemic, the school, staff and students have

risen to the occasion and have proved the ad-

age: ‘When the going gets tough, the tough get

going’. These are extraordinary times and may

last till the end of this academic session. How-

ever, this unforeseen lockdown has provided an

unprecedented healing opportunity. Nature has

revived, atmosphere has become cleaner and

pollution levels have reduced. My advice to

parents and children is to keep themselves safe

by adhering to the government norms. Wearing

masks, frequent handwashing, social distanc-

ing should become the order of the day. This is

an excellent time for bonding with the family

and I’m sure that parents are making the most

of this opportunity and sharing their world

view with them. As we send off the youngsters

to the next leg of their journey, we reiterate

that they stay righteous in thought, word and

action. I wish all my dear children a very

bright future !

What a joy I feel as I congratulate you on the grand success of your CBSE result. DAV, Sec-

tor 14, Gurugram is a known name in the aca-demic circles of our country. I always hold that the precedent set by your predecessor and Founder Principal of the school, Mrs. Anita Mak-kar, has been upheld by you, and taken to greater heights with your tireless efforts. It is heartening to note that you have emulated your mentor and guide and are treading steadily on the path of progress. With your vision and able stewardship, you have added creative and innovative dimen-sions to the school which have given it a unique position in both, DAV and non DAV institutions.

Like every year, your results are a reflection of academic excellence. Yet, co -scholastic activities are given equal emphasis and importance. It is evident that the school follows the concept of holistic education in letter and spirit. Principal’s Message

Congratulations to students, teachers, Princi-pal and Management for the excellent class XII CBSE Board result 2020.

We are living in an extraordinary pandemic situation where the entire world is struggling. In such a scenario, our student community is the worst hit with CBSE cancelling many

examinations. Uncertainty about these examina-tions lingered for a while keeping students, teachers and parents on tenterhooks. After much deliberation, results were declared.

I am happy to see that students of DAV Public School, Sector 14, Gurugram have achieved out-standing results making their school proud of them. The school, under the efficient guidance of the Principal and her team has an impressive QPI of 89.01 and is ranked amongst the best schools of India.

Times are difficult and students are still facing uncertain future as admission to colleges is be-ing delayed. During this time of COVID 19, they have to maintain high mental grit and focus. They can continue preparing for their higher education independently and learn and practice many useful things like improving communica-tion skills and strengthening concepts. Instead of worrying about the present, they can plan for the future. They have to remember that every prob-lem might not have a solution right now, but every solution was once a problem. To achieve all these they can meditate, practice yoga and include physical exercise in their daily routine. DAV Public School, Sector 14, Gurugram has given its students the values of DAV culture which I am sure will help them to remain posi-tive.

The alumni of the School are the torchbear-ers of the school, blazing a trail for the jun-iors to follow. Even though they have chosen different paths, they glow brightly all over the world with their achievements. Students of the batch 2020-21 will also achieve great-ness as they take the righteous path to suc-cess and bring laurels to their alma mater.
