Exploration Report 1994

Geology

The property is situated in the Marmion Lake Batholith and the rock is basically granitic wfth very fttte sulphides.

The aim of the exploration programme is to locate zones of brecciation hi the batholith and test them for gold. The rock in these zones is basically altered granite wtti very fittie sulphides or rust but gold values up to 1 oz. per ton have been found.

Exploration Method

Due to the fact that the gold bearing rock in this area can be almost identical to the barren surrounding rock the method used to explore this area is to do a minimum amount of stripping (le. 5 to 10 sq. ft.) at a great number of locations and do a lot of assays. These areas and the assay numbers are marked on the maps wfth an X.

When a good assay is obtained more stripping is done, wfth the skidder and backhoe if possible and the rock is washed with a fire pump and channel sampled wfth a rock saw. These larger stripped zones are drawn on the enclosed maps.
