ABOUTME

I present myself as a person in full learning period. I finished my studies in Industrial Design Engineering last year (2010-2011), and a postgraduate degree in 3D animation and visual simula-tion in 2012.

I am currently expanding my knowledge with courses in 3D design software, rendering programs etc.

I have been working in a innovation design studio in Barcelona for six month as a intership but now I need something more, and the best way is going abroad.

My intentions include working in product design from the user study, briefing and concept to 3D modeled of the product, always providing the best technical solutions for manufactur-ing feasibility.

What follows are my personal, profesional and university proj-ects. Some of them are only conceptual ideas that are still in development.

These is my final studies thesis. I have done it during my last year in ELISAVA. We had to design something using 3D printing technology in the manufacuring or prototyping process. EOS and Leitat were colaborating with us and gave us the oportunity to print some parts of the product.

Final Project in university. New concept of skateboard, that give to the rider same sensa-tions as snowboard. This can be possible with the conic wheel system, and the omni-wheels (omidirectional wheels) That combination allows the board to rotate 360º on the

ground.

I try to design products based principally on the fuction, on the way it solves the problem, and after that y try to make them as nicers as possi-ble. I try to make innova-tive products that allows the user making things in a more comfortable way.

Actually you need many things to produce electronic music, and that’s a problem if you don’t have much space.

We found that people with weelchairs had the problem that couldn’t use some trashes by himself, so we designed Dreimund, with a geometry that allows them to do it with any problem.

I have been working in Tambakunda, innodesign studio in Barcelona as intership for six month. I have participated in one project from the beguin-ing to the fabrication of the product. I have mod-eled all the 3D models, renderized, and I have been working with Enrique Frisancho to resolve all the thecnical and fabrication problems

The modular concept of Flypad has been com-mended in the Efftex best new accesory 2012.

The Flypad has been designed to give to the fisherman a better experience in a more com-fortable way. It is possible to take it with only one hand when it is opened and you can take the flies with the other hand. You can see the

the fl y fi shing market, we had to ask ourselves some pretty tough questions,” begins Luis Agüeria. Luis is the managing director of

� ink Fish, a creative fl y fi shing brand based out of the northern Spanish city of León.

“We have been studying the current way of storing and transporting fl ies, nymphs and streamers for some time now

and have been very hard at work with a new concept for this area,” he continues.

“What we have come up with is something we hope can improve the experience of fi shermen around the world.”

� e item Luis and his team at � inkfi sh have created is the Flypad – an original and novel way of storing fl ies.

� e fi rst thing that is notably diff erent about this system is the actual fl y boxes themselves.

Luis says: “Instead of the traditional fl y box that opens when you hold it in landscape, we, borrowing the idea from a smartphone, made it so you can hold and open the Flypad when you hold it in portrait.

“� is means that you only need one hand to open the box and get at your fl ies, which is very useful if you are wading.”

It’s true that these boxes are unlike anything else on the market, and it’s easy to see how smartphones such as the iPhone have infl uenced them – the boxes are cleanly designed and fi t perfectly into the palm of your hand.

“We also thought: ‘Why should you have to open your box to see what’s inside?’,” continues Luis. “So every Flypad has a transparent lid. � is, combined with the great size and shape of the boxes, means that it’s easier than ever before for fl y anglers to change strategy with the array of fl ies they are carrying.”

ANIMATION PROJECTS

I have done a 3D anima-tion postgraduate degree where I learned to make animations for presenting products.

The software I used is Blender, a free softwar that allows you to model, rendering and making animations.

This is the final project of the Animation and 3D Visual Simulation Postgraduate. Is about the Music Workstation project I had designeda year ago. The animation has been done with Blender software and the 3D models modeled with ProEngineer WF5 and Solid Works.

3D Printing is something very interesting. Since I know this “new” technology I have been very interested in it. I have assembled a home 3D printer, the RapMan, Bitsfrombytes, that uses FDM technology to print and it can print with ABS and PLA ( organic ).
