FINANCIAL AID
There are many students in North Dakota for whom the cost of obtaining
any postsecondary training is a major obstacle.
To assist these needy students, there are a variety of grant, loan, and
work programs available. These programs may be funded by the local post-
secondary institution, the State of North Dakota, or the Federal Government.
Since the criteria for eligibility and the procedures for application
may vary from institution to institution, the interested student should con-
tact the financial aid officer of the institution he plans to attend.
Interested students may also contact the Director of the North Dakota
Student Financial Assistance Agency to obtain a booklet that describes many
of the financial aid programs available and the procedures that must be
followed to take advantage of them.
