IntroductionDuring our days in Malmö we got a task that should show an approach to the site coloured by a presence. The interpreta-tion was free and challanged our method. Our work resulted in a mental map and was base on a walk (6 hour) at the sur-face of Malmö. Borders and physical obstacles moved us trough a path of layers.

THE WALK

ProcessSimultaneously working/downloading our empiricknowledge to a canvas and freedomly expressing scale, movement and the most important impressions - a collageappear during 3 days of work. The collage intended toreflect a dynamic hands on process and developement. In this phase we had the same attitude as when we wasmaking the walk – following paths and tracks – disturbableand vulnerable.

The canvas content is a mixture. Real facts in harmony with abstractions. Free float of impressions. By this process - another documentation emerged. A bi-product of the original workingmethod. Still, this collage is the startinpoint of the end.

DiscoveryWe got a continous relationship to differentexpressions of Malmö. The transitions hasbeen revealed. A conscious awareness todistance and scale. A result that is a step inthe bigger process of revealing the whole ofMalmö.
