Did you know…? The first Family
Day was
celebrated in
Alberta in 1990.
Family Day was
then introduced
to Saskatchewan
in 2007, and
Ontario followed
in 2008. BC’s
first family day
was celebrated
in 2013.
What are we
supposed to do
on Family Day?
Take part in
activities which
involve the
whole family!
Swim, skate,
climb, spend
some time at a
museum or art
gallery – just do
it together!
