Creating Customized Reports Items
When creating custom reports, users may note some elements are labeled “Report Builder” items and others are labeled ‘Standard”. “Report Builder” items are those created by Worldnow and are editable. Items labeled as “Standard” have been created by comScore as system defaults and are, therefore, not editable.
Worldnow provides Report Builder Label Shortcuts, Segments, Event, and Visit filters to help you create new and in depth report builder items.
Each element of a report has its own header and a set of editing icons to the upper right. To apply a filter such as those listed below, click the pencil icon to edit.
A dialog box will appear; from this, users may apply Segments, Event, and Visit Filters to any Metric.
Segments are used to characterize specific users based on their visitation level. To change, click the “Override segment” checkbox and click the desired selection, such as Visitors with 1 visit, Visitors with 2 – 5 visits. Under the chosen segment, choose the parameters to measure.
Events are used to measure specific activity that happened on a page, such as Weekend Video Plays, or Live Stream Video Plays. They are applied in a similar manner to “Segments”, outlined above.
Visit Filters are used to characterize visitation on certain platforms, like Visitors who only hit your website or video from a tablet.
