J&K Batalian, Tahsildar, Sopore, Captain Mahraj 3 J&K Batalian,

Principal MET High School, Sopore. Activation at MET, Sopore where

students on the subject of food safety. Students made different

posters to inform people about eating healthy and eating safe.

Debates were also organised among students on the topic of food

safety and healthy eating.

Madurai Prabhat pheri began in Madurai. This was attended by

Commissioner of Food Safety, Smt. P. Amudhya, IAS., DC, Madurai,

Dr. S. Natrajan, IAS, Commissioner, Madurai, Dr. Anisekar, IAS, and

Astt. Collector, Dr. Praveen. First city activation at Gandhi Museum,

Madurai. This was attended by Hon. Minister of Health, Hon.

Minister of Revenue, MPS (Madurai), DC, Madurai, Commissioner,

Madurai, Dr. Anisekar, IAS, and Astt. Collector, Dr. Praveen along

with Food Safety Commissioner, TN.

Kavali Prabhat pheri began with NCC cadets at Kaveli, AP in the presence of

chief guest, Municipal Commissioner, Kaveli. Joint Food Controller,

Andhra Pradesh also graced the occasion. The rally crossed the RDO

Highway via RTC Bus Stand-Raithu Bazar, Ongole Bus Stand and

market area where city activations were organised.

Baharagora Prabhat pheri started from Behragora at 7:15 am from Kasturba

Gandhi Balika Vidyalaya through the town, markets, and returned

back through to Pramandal Vikas Karyalaya, Behragora. It was a

huge turnout of more than 1500 participants mostly students from

KG Balika Vidyalaya, Balika Ucch Vidyalaya and other schools. Main

dignitaries present were Khand Pramukh, Sh. Shastri Hembrom, BDO

Sh. Lalit Prasad, CO Sh. Hira kumar , CDPO Sh. Jiramani Hembrom,

School Inspector Sh. Arun Sharma, KGB Vidyalaya Warden, Sh. Uma

Kundu. The first activation took place at Thana Chowk, Behragora

during the course of the Prabhat pheri. It went on for around two

hours where shopkeepers, public were enlightened about the

importance of safe and healthy food. The 2nd city activation was

done at BDO, Behragora. More than 1500 people including students,

Angan badi sevikas, all officials of BDO, Anchal Adhikari, local media

and others were present. It went on from 10 am to 11 am. The

gathering was attentive and responsive towards the messages and

objectives of Swasth Bharat Yatra. The team headed off to

Hazaribagh.
