PRESENTATION IN THE ROMANIA– the 19th November 2015
In Romanian kindergartens, there are activities dedicated to tales during language development classes.
If at school narration is the method through which the teacher communicates that knowledge children cannot get by personal experience, tales used in the kindergarten are forms of organized activities, taking an important place and having a formative role in the assembly of means of achieving the instructive educational tasks.
Tales are carefully selected according to the age of children, accomplishing the understanding and assimilation in different ways (intellectual, moral şi aesthetic) of the content of the tales.
The voice, the tone represents one of the most important way the preschool teacher has to use to illustrate the words and especially to emphasize some affective states. Adapting her voice, the teacher imitates the voice of the of the wolf, of the fox, the calm and loving voice of the mother, grandmother, etc. offering thus more expressivity to the tale.
To emphasize the effect of the exposition, the teacher can use a series of intuitive means such as: the filmstrip, silhouettes, layouts, illustrated pictures, cardboards, PPT presentations, huge books, etc.
In teaching tales, you can use: -The reading of the teacher;-The sorytelling of the teacher;-The storytelling of children;-Storytelling using pictures;-Storytelling with a given start;-Dramatizing the tale.
Exemples of tales:-Romanian literature: The bear tricked by the fox, The goat with three kids, The greyhound’s boots, The little bag with two coins, The old woman’s daughter and the old man’s daughter, etc.-Universal literature: Snow White and the seven dwarfs, The Three little pigs, Cinderella, Hansel and Grethel, Thumbelina, Red Riding Hood, The Huge radish, etc.
