Point Value Date Observations1. Pre-Coordination Activitya) Contact the Operations Solids Processing Building Supervisor to inform them that Preventive maintenance inspection is going to be carried out on the Dry Polymer Unloading Air Dehumidifiers.

3. Inspect the Unloading Air Dehumidifier (UAD-1, 2) Desiccant Media Seal, Media Bearings and Drive Belta) Remove the access panelb) Visually inspect for gaps between the desiccant media and the seal and adjust as required to close gaps.c) Slide a semi-rigid piece of thick paper or thin piece of cardboard (I.e. business card) between the desiccant media and the seal. If the material slides through with little or no restriction the seal needs to be replaced.d) Rotate the media by hand and check the shaft bearings for smooth operation. If the media does not turn smoothly upon the shaft check the bearings in the media or have your supervisor contact Bry-Air at 877-427-9247 for further instructions (in case of emergency they can be reached at 740-965-2974)e) Inspect the Desiccant drive belt for cuts, tears, wear and slack in the belt. f) So long as the desiccant drum is not contaminated by dirt and debris it does not need to be replaced or cleaned. g) Restore the access panel.

2.Inspect the Unloading Air Dehumidifier (UAD-1, 2) Filters Check the condition of the air filters: a)Check the gasket on the doors for the filters. If the gasket is torn it won’t seal.b)Inspect the cleanliness of the 3 cardboard filters. Replace if needed.c)Check the metal case enclosed filter at the heaters by the temperature probe port. Inspect for cleanliness. Replace if needed.

a) Check fan assembly mounting hardware tightness. Make sure there are no loose bolts. Use cross check to mark them once torqued.b) Check the fan wheel blades for accumulation of dust and dirt using a borescope. (If you have to clean the fan blades off, a wet vac can be used to suck the dirt particles off the blades). c) Inspect the condition of the ductwork. Look for cracks in the ductwork, holes, rust, damage in the insulation. Shine a flashlight into the vent and look for dust or debris. If the ductwork condition is poor have your supervisor write a corrective maintenance work order.

a) Check compressors oil level, if low allow the compressor to operate continuously at full load for 3 to 4 hours, checking the oil level at 30-minute intervals. If level remains low, add oil. While waiting for the compressor check to ensure that the duct vent doors on the roof are closed, and inspect the hatch doors on the duct lines to the UADs, to ensure that there is no foreign matter present. Also use the Humidity Probe to check the surrounding humidity in the Silo and Baghouse area, to ensure that the relative humidity is below 50%.b) Observe the oil pressure. The oil pressure gauge reading should be approximately 20 to 35 PSI above the suction pressure gauge reading.c) Stop the compressor and check the shaft seal for excessive oil leakage, If found, check the seal with a refrigerant leak detector (open compressor only).d) Check the general operation conditions, system pressures, refrigerant sight glass, etc.e) Check the condition of the condenser coils and clean as necessary.f) Check reactivation inlet temperatures. Should be between 90F and 110F.g) Check process and reactivation pressure drops. To 180.3 psi at 90F.h) If there are any discrepancies contact your supervisor to write a CM workorder on the ACCUs.

Point Value Date Observations1.Inspect the Desiccant Media Seal, Bearings, and Drive Belt a)Remove the access panelb)Visually inspect for gaps between the desiccant media and the seal and adjust as required to close gaps.c)Slide a semi-rigid piece of thick paper or thin piece of cardboard (I.e. business card) between the desiccant media and the seal. If the material slides through with little or no restriction the seal needs to be replaced.d)Rotate the media by hand and check the shaft bearings for smooth operation. If the media does not turn smoothly upon the shaft check the bearings in the media or have your supervisor contact Bry-Air at 877-427-9247 for further instructions (in case of emergency they can be reached at 740-965-2974)e)Inspect the Desiccant drive belt for cuts, tears, wear and slack in the belt. f)So long as the desiccant drum is not contaminated by dirt and debris it does not need to be replaced or cleaned. g)Restore the access panel

120 INSPECT THE UNLOADING AIR DEHUMIDIFIER (UAD-1, 2) PROCESS AND REACTIVATION BLOWER FANS ON THE HEATER SIDE

a) Check fan assembly mounting hardware tightness.
