Xerox dc5000 upgrade win7TRANSCRIPT

Manually set the PWS NIC Speed Link to 10Mbps Full Duplex before attempting to
communicated with Xerox DC5000/DC5000AP machines.
Note: The PWS NIC Speed Link must be set back to Auto Negotiation after
DC5000/DC5000AP service so the PWS performance will go back to normal.
INSTRUCTIONS
Follow the steps below to configure the PWS NIC:
Enter the PWS Control Panel.
Select Network and Sharing Center.
Select Change Adapter Setting.
Use the mouse right button to click on the Local Area Connection icon.
Select Properties.
Click on the Configure button.
Select the Link Speed tab.
In the Speed and Duplex section, select 10 Mbps Full Duplex from the drop list.
Select Ok.
Select the red X to close the network Connection screen.
Note: The instruction may vary if a different NIC card driver is installed in the PWS.
