• Enrolled in a Level 1 Certificate
• Associate Degree or Higher Graduate
• Transfer in with a College Level Class
• TSI Met at another institution

• Non-Degree and Non-Certificate seeking
Computer Literacy – Background• Core Requirement Prior to Core 2010
• Enrollment patterns indicated Computer Course as last four courses of students Core work.

Have completed ITSC 1401, BCIS 1405, COSC 1300, COSC 1301, COSC 1401, POFI 1301, or equivalent within the last ten years with a grade of "C" or better.
Students who are 65 years of age and older Students with 12 or more college level hours
• Waivers (temporary action, future action required by advisor) Seeking career and technical education through an Associate of
Applied Sciences degree, a certificate, or credit contract training program.
Are transient university students. Are Dual Credit students who have not graduated from high
school.
Learning Frameworks - History• Core 2009 Committee recognized many students, especially FTIC need more support as they encounter the academic challenge of a college experience.
• The Core 2009 Committee recommended the DCCCD develop and adopt a Learning Frameworks course
Learning Frameworks - GoalsEDUC 1300 addresses factors that impact learning, including
• research and theory in learning;
• strategies to monitor, regulate and control cognition, motivation and behavior;
• and the ability to think ethically and critically.
