Revenue Impact Program: Diva Dish & Design Workshops
OBJECTIVE:
• Get customers to commit to multiple classes at once
• Increase revenue without increasing advertising costs
• Attract new & return business to impact annual revenue
• Create a trendy & “now” monthly workshop that’s FUN!
WHY ARE THESE WORKSHOPS DIFFERENT:
DDD is a collection of exclusive paint designs, very trendy and current which we will offer in
the form of monthly workshops. These workshops will be different because they will feel a
bit more like a party than a typical workshop. Ladies only! They will be fun and indulgent.
The atmosphere you create plays as big a role as the technique and painting. To achieve this
you want to be thinking of bringing in partners to provide things like:
• Special Guest or Special Feature (mini fashion show, diamond party, culinary demo, etc.)
• Apps/Dessert
• Music
• Wine/Beverage

HOW THE ADVERTISING IS DIFFERENT:
While offering monthly workshops is not a new concept, offering the year’s worth in a single
ad package, with price breaks at 4 classes, 8 classes and 12 classes commitments is. We will
dress these events to look and feel an intimate social affair as well as a fun, valuable learning
experience, appealing to women from more than one angle.
We are providing you with a line of artwork that allows you to push the program as a whole,
as well as short lines of artwork for each project. You can push the program as a whole on an
ongoing basis but you can also put focus on filling each class on a monthly basis.
As always, we’ll use the following platforms for advertising:
• Website
• Constant Contact
• Print In-Studio

PAINTING INSTRUCTIONS:
These samples were designed by Mayco, exclusively for Color Me Mine. Mayco is also
providing us with instructional videos for each design. Additionally, we will be setting up
hands on workshops with John Dean, to take place at Marketing Workshops (still TBD.)
around the country.
In exchange for Mayco’s time and expense in developing these samples and videos for us, we
invited them to use their painting products.
You’ll need to be sure to carry their crystal glazes, stroke and coats, etc.
Again, they designed these exclusively for Color Me Mine.

WHAT YOU CAN DO TO PLAN RIGHT NOW:
• Look over the projects and advertising materials in order to start feeling familiar.
• Be thinking about when you think you’d like to offer them… 1st Thursday evening of each
month? Choose something consistent so it’s easy for customers to remember. Check your
calendar for the year to be sure there aren’t too many conflicts such as holidays or existing
promotions you offer.
• How long will your workshop be? 2 hours? 3 hours?
• Brainstorm with staff about partners.
• Select bisque for each project.
Once you have nailed down length of class and bisque, you can begin to think about pricing. I
am anxious to hear your thoughts on price breaks at each 4 classes, 8 classes and 12 classes.

COMING SOON:
• We are expecting to receive the first batch of videos from Mayco this week. I will distribute
them to you as soon as I receive them. They said we’ll have all of the videos before the
first of the year.
• I am working with our artist on the brochure which will feature each class on it. You’ll be
adding your dates and prices to it. We are creating a version that allows you to move the
classes around to offer them any month you like. We should have it done this week.
• I’m also starting on a CC template for you to use. I expect to have it ready this week.
• We’ll be anxious to hear from you, about any additional pieces you think you need for
advertising. We thought maybe a large editable poster to hang in the studio, that features
each class for the year? You’ll have to finish it putting the classes in the order you’ll be
offering them, and add your dates/prices. We would design this to be 20x30 so you can
have it printed at Costco.

ARE YOU STILL INTERESTED IN BEING A PILOT STUDIO?
Now that you’ve read all of the information, and had a chance to look through the advertising
materials and paint samples, are you still interested in being a pilot studio?
Look forward to hearing from you.
