G.S.R. 438,(E).-In exercise of the powers conferred by Sub-section (JA) of Sectionl7A of the Mines and Minerals (Development and Regulation) Act, 1957 (67 of 1957) and in supersession of the Notification of Government of India Ministry of Mines, number G.S.R. 785(E), dated the 3rd December, 2004 the Central Government, niter Consulrntion with the State Government of Chlrnllisgarh. reserves for undertaking prospecting or mining operations through the Steel Authority of India Limited (SAIL), a Public Sector Undertaking owned and controlled by the Central Government, of the iron ore deposits in Rowghat area in Kanker and Ba3tar Districts of the State ot'Chattisgarh except the areas already held under prospecting licence or mining lease and declares that no prospecting licence or mining lease shall be granted in an area of 2028. 797 hectares for ten years lying within t_he bouriaarfcif siich reserved area and for the mineral specified b~Jow;·namely :- ·
