Handling is minimized because every machine is assembled and jobtested at the factory, then partially knocked down for shipment to you. The only tools required are the wrenches furnished with the machine, a crescent wrench, and a Philip head screw driver.

    Models 1250 and 14 50

    SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS So that your new "Power Shop" may be placed in operation just as soon as assembled, a ll e lectrica l connections have been made at the factory to operate on 120V single phase power supply. For 240V single phase, see connection diagram on page 11 or on motor name plate. Just follow this easy step-by-step procedure in setting up your new "Power Shop"!

    Models 1250 and 1450

    SET-UP INSTRUCTIONS So that your new "Power Shop" may be placed in opera-tion just as soon as assembled, a ll e lectrical connections have been made at the factory to operate on 120V single phase power supply. For 240V single phase, see connec-tion diagram on page 11 or on motor name plate. Just follow this easy step-by-step procedure in setting up your new "Power Shop"!

    1. Remove loose ta b le top boards and guide strip.

    2. Remove table top assembly. Note: On model 1250 only one spacer board is provided.

    3. Remove guard box, tip carton on e nd and remove machine.

    4. Raise arm assembly to free carton containing motor by turning elevating handle counter clockwise. Remove motor from box.

    7. Insert motor assembly in arm. Be careful not to damage pointers on right side of assembly.

    5. Remove riplock assembly from hardware bag, turn knob counterclockwise to release locking pin. Insert riplock into rollerhead.

    8 . Remove handle from hardware bag and thread on arm clamp handle.

    6. Remove two screws from arm endcap, wipe arm tracks w ith clean cloth.

    9. Loosen pointer screws, adjust both pointers to up.right position and tighten screws.

    13. Tighten able support nuts. 14. Place saw blade between collars, (recessed side against blade). Tighten arbor nut using both wrenches.

    15. Assemble guard kickback and elbow.

    18. Insert key, unlock push button switch. Motor can now be started by pushing black start button.

    10. Fit table top assembly to machine frame so that the four drilled holes (circled in white) match. Insert table hardware in holes pro vided. (See Fig . 13).

    IMPORTANT!

    7 Before using machine, place guide fence in position (A) for normal operations.   • ASSEMBLY SEQUENCE

    DeWALT MODEL 9 362 CABINET AND 9361 UTILITY DRAWER GENERAL INFORMATION-The screw driver slotted round head machine screws and hex nuts used for the cabi net assembly are all the same size (1;4 -20 X 1/2 inches long). ",:'hen assembling the cabinet the screws should be inserted from the outside and secured with the hex nut on the inside.

    I. TO ASSEMBLE CABINET 9362 /. Place Side Panels (1) in standing position approximately 18 inches apart. /~. Attach Front Brace (2) and top Door Hinge ( 3) to the front of the side panels. Center the elonglted holes in .r the hinge under the screw heads and tighten with fin ger pressure only.

    ~. Attach Brace (4) and bottom hinge ( 3) to side panels. Center the elongated holes in the hinge under the screw r heads and tighten securely. /' Attach Shelf Channels (5) to side panels at the bo ttom mounting holes. "u" portion of the channels face

    Attach Back Panel (7) to side panels using fo ur screws and nuts only in the two bottom holes on each side. Mount Door (8) on the bottom hinge (3) and adjust the top hinge up or down as necessary to support door. Also adjust right or left so that door is square with braces (2) and (4). Tighten Securely. ~. Place Top (9 ) on side and back panels wi th M achine mounting holes closest to the rear. Top flanges should

    . fif"'over the side and back panels. Insert screws and tighten securely. 41!: Place Cabinet on its back and insert adjustable feet (10). 10. Place Cabinet on its feet and adjust to floor level using a spirit level on the top. To assure perfect levelness

    it is recommended that the level be placed in two positions (corner to corner in each direction) and adjustment to feet be made accordingly. It is also suggested that the level be used against both Sides, Front and Back. This will assure that the cabinet parts are properly assembled and matching parts are square with each other.

    II. RECHECK All HARDWARE TO BE SURE IT IS TIGHT ~ur DeWALT m ay now be mounted to top of the cabinet using the remammg four screws and hex nuts. At

    9361 UTILITY DRAWER III. GENERAL INFORMATION

    Additional channel mounting holes predrilled at the Factory are provided in the side channels of the Cabinet. These additional holes make it possible to install the Ut ility Drawer in four different positions or equip the Cabinet with one, two, three or four drawers.

    DRAWER ASSEMBLY TO CABINET 1. Attach the two D rawer Channels (A) (furn ished wi th Drawer Kit 9361) to side panels of the cabinet with hardware

    provided at position desired. 2. Insert Drawer (B ) so that channels (A ) fit into recess on each side of drawer.
