DESCRIPTION

I draw a diagonal of intuitive length and angle from any corner-point of the plane. From the point it stops I draw a square, parallel to the plane, that connects the endpoint with the starting point. Then I draw another diagonal of intuitive length and angle from any nearby corner-point into the remaining unmarked field. I repeat this until the squares have covered the entire field. Then I picture the whole as a primitive character, and enhance the features as they present themselves to me.

DEAD RECKONING I draw a diagonal of intuitive length and angle from any corner-point of the plane.
