Basic overview of the story.

Page 3: Dead resurrection

Our story is based within a futuristic apocalyptic world, which zombies have started to rise from the depths of hell and devour the living. The opening sequence consists of an unknown civilian being chased by a zombie, which quickly turns into a group of zombies. The unknown then trips over and is eaten by the undead. This was an idea we had based on other zombie/apocalyptic films, mainly influenced by George A. Romero. We will use many different camera angles, which will range from a close up to an over-the-shoulder shot.

Costumes

The character of the civilian will wear a pair of skinny jeans, trainers, a hooded. This will go well with the character, as they are a teenager around the age of 16.

The infected will be required to wear just every day clothing to create a sense of disorientation to show how they haven’t been long been turned into flesh eating monsters.

Locations

The main setting for our opening sequence would be Steetley as it has a feeling and look of destruction to create the mood that this is an apocalyptic world. The idea we would try to create having the sea in the background is that this type of apocalyptic scene is forever going on all over.
