Clean up after yourself As long as it doesn’t disrupt the class Keep the food in your mouth No nuts

Leaving the Room
Tell the teacher where you are going 5 minute limit You may be asked if you can wait 1 person at a time

No need to yell Respect people’s opinion One voice at a time Wait for someone to finish before you begin Use hands when the teacher is talking

When lessons are happening no headphones
IPads, computers etc can be used for class purposes only.
The Non-Negotiables
Late/Attendance Missing Assignments Polite Announcements
Late/Attendance
When the bell goes you must be in the class or you’re considered late
The beginning of class is very important. It sets the tone for the rest of the class so be there or you will miss it
CPA Attendance Procedures:
At the first 5 absences the teacher will contact the parents/guardians in the form of a phone call/message
At 8 absences the teacher will contact the parent/guardian directly in the form of a phone call
At 10 absences an attendance contract can be signed by the parent, student and administration
At 14 absences a letter will be sent indicating the student is in danger of not qualifying for the credit
At 16 absences the student can lose the credit
Missing Summative Assessments
When students miss the due dates for legitimate reasons, the teacher will consult with the student to set an absolute deadline and negotiate a plan for successful completion.
No extensions will be given to students without a legitimate reason.
Polite
Respect is earned Be polite. Your words can hurt people and
your actions can impact others Please and Thank you Treat any materials, course references, and
supplies well. Put them back when finished with them

Listen to the announcements Or be quiet so others around you can hear
them

Fire Evacuation Procedures
Exit the building in a safe and orderly manner through the right exit.
Students next to the windows will close them. Last one out will shut off the lights and shut the door. Line up Alphabetically on the field. If you are in the hall at the time of the fire alarm,
make your way outside and find our class. 52 Shannon

This is an activity and participation course. Missing class or not participating will affect your over progress in the course
Come prepared to Class with proper gear:– Sneakers– Tshirts, jogging or yoga pants etc.
Do not wear:– Tank tops, short shorts, footwear what has not grips
