Cappella Masterworks Chorus has been performing concerts for the past 47 years under the direction of conductor Barry Asch. We start anew this fall with our new Music Director, Simon Holt. Simon is the founder and Music Director of Salt Marsh Opera and Music Director of the Old Lyme Congregational Church. We are truly excited and energized about our future and music, and need your support! As many of you know, the money raised during our fall and spring ad campaign accounts for a major portion of income that will cover our production costs. Cappella Cantorum adds to the quality of life in the area by providing an opportunity for study and performance of major choral masterworks with a professional orchestra. The training in choral performance that we provide enhances the many other choral organizations and church choirs which many of our members also sing with.
