Dear Friend of the Animals, The Humane Society of the Treasure Coast has several events throughout the year, but this is one that you do not want to miss. The 17th annual ‘Mutt March’ will take place on Saturday, March 28 th at Memorial Park in downtown Stuart, FL. Mutt March is our largest community fundraiser where children and families, adults of all ages, and their dogs come together to support HSTC. Activities include a 5k race, Doggie Lure Course, Derby Races, kids’ corner and much, much more. Proceeds from this event help provide safe shelter, food, and veterinary care for more than 5,000 abused, abandoned and neglected animals that come through our doors annually. Funds raised also help support our community outreach programs, such as the award winning ‘Paws to Read’ literacy program. New this year: Entry Fee: It is FREE! In year’s past entry was anywhere from $15-$25. Collaboration: We are partnering with the City of Stuart’s ‘Waterfest’, and Students4H2O to increase attendance! Event Date: After years of holding this event in late October/early November, we have decided to move the event to March. This will help to increase participation from our more seasonal residents and their families. Promotion: We have increased our advertising and marketing efforts to include new mediums and platforms to ensure attendance and participation and exposure for our sponsors and underwriters. The success of our shelter and our programs depend entirely upon community support. We’re not affiliated with any other humane society, nor funded by the Humane Society of the United States. We cannot do it without you. We hope that you see our sponsorship opportunities as a partnershipand a mutually beneficial relationship for both parties. Please keep in mind that these packages are completely customizable to fit the needs of your business. We want to work with you to get your business the most exposure possible and to meet your budget and marketing needs. EVENT INFORMATION EVENT LOCATION: When: Saturday, March 28, 2020 Time: 8:00 a.m. – 2:00 p.m. Where: Memorial Park, Stuart, FL. www.hstc1.org/muttmarch EVENT OVERVIEW: The annual ‘Mutt March’ is our largest attended community fundraiser that combines interactive activities for pet lovers, but also creates the perfect platform for businesses to connect with potential clients face-to-face in a fun and spirited atmosphere with a goal to raise critical funds for our shelter pets in need. Funds raised go to help support our adoption, low cost spay/neuter program, community education programs and our lifesaving, Emergency Medical Fund. These programs have allowed us to service more than 5,000 animals each year and conduct more than 20,000 surgeries since opening our surgical unit in 2013. Requirements: The Mutt March 5k will begin at 8:00 am. We ask that you are setup no later than 7:30 a.m. and stay until 9:30 a.m. Please provide your own tent and (250) small 8oz bottles of water, or jugs of water that your team can use to fill small cups. We also ask that you help up make sure that there is no trash left behind after the race. The water station is located at the intersection of SE Amerigo Avenue and SE Osceola Street. Feel free to pass out promotional swag. Please make sure it is something they can grab and go with.

2020 MUTT MARCH & 5k VENDOR RULES & REGULATIONS

Vendor agrees to arrive for set up as early as 6:00 a.m. but no later than 7:30 a.m. as long as set up is complete by 8:00 a.m.

There will be a limited designated parking area for vendors to load and unload for set up purposes only and you will be required to move the vehicle to the general designated parking spaces. Unloading must be completed by 7:30 a.m. (before the 5k race begins).

Vehicles will not be permitted access in or out of Memorial Park after 7:30 a.m. or before 2 p.m.

You may not be able to unload near your space depending on the location; be prepared to transport your items to your space.

Due to the number of vendors, we cannot supply volunteers to assist you with unloading and loading. Bring enough personnel and equipment to transport and set up your exhibit.

Upon arrival, you MUST stop at the Check-In Tent to receive your exhibit # and directions to your assigned location.

Electrical spaces are very limited and/or not available or guaranteed. Exhibitors must provide their own electrical cords. 100 ft cords may be needed. No loud generators.

You may not “sublet” your exhibit space or share your space with another organization or company.

Parking is available on a first come, first served basis in the parking lots adjacent to, behind and in front of Memorial Park. Obey all parking rules and traffic ordinances. HSTC is not responsible for any parking violation fees.

Breakdown of your Vendor Booth cannot commence before 2:00 p.m. You are responsible for making sure your space is clean before you leave. This is a Rain or Shine event. No refunds due to weather, acts of nature or cancellation.

As an authorized representative, I have read and agree to the terms in this agreement. I hereby hold

harmless and indemnify the Humane Society of the Treasure Coast, Mutt March and WaterFest organizers, volunteers, underwriters, sponsors, employees, as well as the City of Stuart or anyone employed by the City of Stuart, for any action relating to the Mutt March and WaterFest, including theft, damage or injury. I agree to pay any reasonable attorney fees and costs incurred by Mutt March and WaterFest, or its organizers, as a result of actions by me that are covered by this agreement.
