Ofcourse,weareeagerlyawaitingthetimewhenwecandiscuss,work,learn,study,andbetogetheragainhereoncampus.Nevertheless,welearnedaboutnewformats,whichhavethepotentialtobringsustainablenewoptionsintoourfutureinteractions.Howwillweorganizeworkingtogetherinprojectsfromveryremotelocationsanddifferentinterculturalperspectives?Howwillweenableparticipationininterestingcoursesatgreatpartner-universitieswhilebeinghereinMunich?HowwillwebenefitfromtheinsightsresultingfromcuttingedgeresearchatouruniversityinanunprecedentedeasywayeventhoughweworkasAlumniofTUMatverydistantplaces?

Todaytheanswerstothosequestionsaremoreconcretethaneverandwithinimmediatereach.Wehavegottheflavorofnewpossibilities,webasicallyjusthavetoadjustsomeframeworks:legally,administrative,andconcerningourmindsets.

Inshort,thecrashcourseinnewwaysofworkingtogethercombinedwiththelongingformoredirectinteraction,whichbecameclearduringtheCoronaperiod,opensnewperspectiveswhich-Iamsure-willnotonlychangeourcooperationintheTUM:JungeAkademiebutalsoourprofessionalandprivatelivesinthelongterm.Moreover,wewillenjoymorethaneverbeforethevalueofdirectcommunicationandworkingtogetherinourlabsandlecturerooms.
