Dear Organizer/s, Thank you for reading this rider carefully. This rider contains every useful information you need to know about the band and it’s live production. The document was created after gaining a lot of road experience, so these requirements are all based on our needs.

Ivan & The Parazol are 8 people on the road, 5 musicians, and 3 crew members, who will always kindly help you out, if you need any further information! Stage size: min. 8x6m, 1m high, with stable stairs with light and marks by the steps.

All the cables should run on the sides by line. In case of outdoor event stage roofing is indispensable.

Drum riser: 2x2m, 50cm high with black textile around.

PA.: Any kind of top 10 factory product system is fine, ( e.g.:d&b, Adamson, JBL, Martin, EV) which is able to produce 110dB SPL at the mix pos. with unweighted measuring, 50Hz-12KHz linear, max 10% THD

Monitors: We’d like to use a separate monitor mixer, but if that’s not available, please provide 4 pcs high quality wedges(d&b m2, Martin LE1500..) on 3 sends, we bring 2 IEM (1 hardwired, 1 wless)

F.O.H.: We carry our own console, we only need 2 CAT5e from the stage to the F.O.H. and space for our own mixer (small sized digital) if the set up of our own mixer is not possible, we’ll happily use the local set if it is one of the follwing units: Midas XL or Heritage, Soundcraft K or Series5, API Paragon, Yamaha Pm4/5000 with 3 gates(Drawmer,KT),8 comps(KT,dBx160..), 2 reverbs(m2k,m3k,bricasti m7..), 1 tap delay(2290,d2) OR (Avid, Midas, Yamaha, Digico, Soundcraft Vi – Digital)

Misc: stands: 6 tall, long boom, 6 short, shortboom, 3 clip on. Talkback at F.O.H., lights at the F.O.H. We bring the mics for: main vox, guitar, keys, kickdrum.

Lights: We don’t bring our own light operator to the show, so will work with the venue’s own operator. Please use easy but definite scenes, cold and warm white changes, dark and light blue, orange-red. Please only use smoke if it’s very necessary.

Ideal set-up: 6 lekos- front, 12 wash-mid/back, 12 beam-back/on stage, 12 sunstripe- back, minimal haze!

Video: We don’t have a VJ, but we have our own video content, so if you have backprojection or LED-wall, we like to use it, with one of your operators.

-2 bottles of white wine – Chardonnay, Rhine Riesling, or Green Veltelini – if possible from Italian, French, Spanish, Greek, North German, or Hungarian vinery -20 bottles of beer – lager or pilsner / for example: Paulaner, Stella Artois, Pilsner Urquell, Heineken -3 bottles of ALE beer – Newcastle ale, London Pride – or any type of Fuller’s Ales -2 bottles of orange juice -2 bottles of Coca Cola -Tea & Coffee FOOD - cold plate for 8 person cheese (Edamer, Brie, etc.), salami, ham, sausage, pickles, vegetables, cream cheese, butter, And bread ont he side! 2 chocolate bar (milk chocolate – Lindt, Milka, Catbury) Any kind of salad for 3 persons Some fresh fruits There are no vegetarians in the band&crew!





Selling out high profile venues, having a Main Stage slot at Sziget Festival 2014 foreshadows a rising of a new beat generation. Ivan & The Parazol, the five piece rock and roll band’s career started in 2010, when they met at a private music school in Budapest. Their groovy rock tunes quickly gained a very engaged and rife audience. Two years after their founding the band’s 1st LP - Mama Don’t You Recognize, Ivan & The Parazol? – already resulted the band a sold out album release show at one of the popular Budapest venues, Iskola Club. The band successfully applied to play at the prestigious SXSW Festival in the USA in 2013 and the successful debut at the festival got them a slot at CBGB Festival in New York City, a number of shows in London, UK, and an MTV EMA local prize for Best Hungarian Act 2013. In 2014 they got invited to support Deep Purple at the Budapest stop of their arena tour. After the band’s opening show Roger Glover personally felicitated their performance. In the meantime the band’s hit song ‘Take My Hand’ which was a national hit being Nr 1 for weeks on the MR2 Petofi Radio - the Hungarian National Radio - became the official promo song of SXSW 2014. So this time the band played at the legendary Palm Door in Austin, TX during SXSW. Their performance now caught not just the audience, but the attention of the press internationally and got them positive feedback for their live shows. Ivan & The Prazol’s 2nd full length album was released in March 2014, titled Mode Bizarre. The album release show was a sold out performance at a venue known throughout Europe, A38 ship. Their second album got the band national recognition and flew them to the Main Stages of the biggest festivals in their area. They played the main stage at Sziget 2014 and delivered the festival’s anthem: ‘Together’ from their 2nd LP.
