Primary 2 Assessment Schedule for 2018

1. In line with the Primary Education Review and Implementation Committees (PERI) recommendations, the school has been carrying out holistic assessment for Primary 2.

2. Bite-sized forms of assessment will be conducted throughout the year to support the pupils development and achievement in learning. A formal assessment in the form of Semestral Assessment 2 (SA2) will be conducted in Term 4.

3. The format and scope of the bite-sized assessments for Term 1 is attached as Annex 1.

4. The format and scope of the bite-sized assessments for Term 2 is attached as Annex 2.

5. The format and scope of the bite-sized assessments for Term 3 is attached as Annex 3.

6. The format and scope of the bite-sized assessments for Term 4 is attached as Annex 4.

Please note the following:

All absences must be substantiated with a Medical Certificate.

Pupils who are absent for the tests which constitute the overall grade will be allowed to take the tests during the assessment period if supported by a Medical Certificate for Term 3 assessment.

Pupils who are absent without any valid reason will be awarded zero marks for the paper missed. Pupils who are absent with a Medical Certificate will be awarded a VR for the paper missed.

There will be NO make-up paper for Term 4 Semestral Assessment.
