Dear parents,

Form 4 have been studying food in French this term and as part of their learning we will be putting on a French Breakfast for the children during periods two and three on Thursday 27th November. This will essentially consist of croissants, pains au chocolat, pains aux raisins, baguettes, madeleines , brioches, tartes aux pommes and poires, ham and cheese. There will also be drinks including hot chocolate and fruit juices. The children are to dress up in a French themed costume (e.g. wearing something with the colours of the French flag, a striped top, beret, moustache, onions, musketeer, street artist, can-can dancer, French waiters ). There will be a prize for the best boy and girl costume. We would advise that on this Thursday the children have a light breakfast at home so that they can then enjoy le petit déjeuner at school. The children are to bring their costume into school and change into their outfit during tutor period. They will then change back into their school uniform at the end of period 3.
