Dear Santa

Dear Santa, I’m fine and how have you been?I feel it’s about time to write you again.

Our town has become a bright Christmas scene,With everything sparkling of crisp red and green.

A Chubby Snowman

A chubby little snowmanhad a carrot nose.Along came a bunny, and what do you suppose?

That hungry little bunny, looking for some lunch,Grabbed that snowman’s nose,Nibble, nibble, crunch

Hurry Christmas

Hurry Christmas! How you creep,I’ve some presents I can’t keep,Just this morning I forgot,And told baby what I’d bought.

All he answered was, “Goo goo!”So I don’t think that he knew,I told mamma hers was white,And she’d wear it every night.

That she’d need it getting tea. Then my mamma smiled at me,And she whispered, “Isn’t MayLetting secrets fly away?”

Little Jack Horner

Little Jack HornerSat in the corner,

Eating of Christmas pie:He put in his thumb,

And pulled out a plum,And said, “What a good boy am I!

Little star

One little star on the top of the tree,Two little presents underneath for me,

Three silver ropes twisted around the tree,Four colored lights shining prettily,

Five shining balls flowing silvery.Oh, what a sight for use to see!

Winds Blow

When cold the winds blow,And comes the white snow,

Then look out for good Saint Nick.He comes in a sleigh

From miles, miles away,And vanishes very quick.

Newborn King

A song was heard at ChristmasTo wake the midnight sky:

A saviour’s birth, and peace on earth,And praise to God on high.

The angels sang at ChristmasWith all the hosts above,

And still we sing the newborn KingHis glory and his love.

. The Magic Of A Mother’s Love

The magic of a mother’s loveBrings harmony and bliss.

It covers like a blanketAnd cures boo-boos with a kiss.

Christmas Tree

A Christmas tree! A Christmas tree! With dark green needled memories

Of childhood dreams and mysteriesWrapped present-like in front of me.

One Little Star

One little star at the top of the treeTwo little presents underneath for me

Three silver ropes twisted around the treeFour colored lights shining prettily

Five shining lights flowing silveryOh, what a sight for us to see.

Little Seedling One Foot Tall

Little seedling one foot tallPlanted so late in the fallOne year later, can’t you beTall enough for a Christmas tree?

No, I’m not really so late-Do you think you can wait?I’ll be here for another year-I’m two feet tall now, my dear..

Once Was A Shining Christmas Tree

There once was a shining Christmas treeStanding out where all could see.

Its brilliance captured every eyeAnd seemed to cheer each passer by.

My Christmas Wish For You

My Christmas wish for you, my friendIs not a simple oneFor I wish you hope and joy and peaceDays filled with warmth and sun

I wish you love and friendship tooThroughout the coming yearLots of laughter and happinessTo fill your world with cheer..

Christmas Comes

Christmas comes with children singing,Christmas comes with sleigh bells ringing,

Christmas comes with frosty nights,Christmas comes with snowball fights.

Excitement And Joy

Excitement and joy are filling the air;The lights add special decor. We’re shopping for Christmas gifts everywhere,But are gifts what Christmas is for?

The wreaths and the trees and the partiesAren’t what we need to convey; It’s the birth of our Savior, Jesus,The real reason for this holiday.

The Christmas Star

May the Light that shonefrom the Christmas Star

On that night so long agoFall on you this Christmas night

and set your face aglow.May it shine from your eyes.

Page 5: Dear Santa

May it rest in your mind.May it burn in your Spirit bright.

May the Peace it spoke to a weary world.Bring joy to your heart tonight.
