Pharmacies Providing Naloxone Many pharmacies in Ohio now provide naloxone and education about its use to anyone who requests it. There is a charge for naloxone obtained at pharmacies; however, naloxone may be billed to Medicaid or private insurance. The Ohio State Board of Pharmacy maintains a list of pharmacies that are providing naloxone without a prescription pursuant to a protocol: http://pharmacy.ohio.gov/Licensing/NaloxonePharmacy.aspx
