when it affects your whole way of living. We were challenged by God to stretch forward. Forgetting what lies behind and stretching forward toward that call of God, we surrendered to the will of God that we come to Chiang Mai, Thailand. For the last year, we’ve been studying the Thai language—learn-ing to speak, read and write some-thing very different than what we’re used to. In October of ’15, I began

teaching pastoral theology, training students who want to be church leaders, at the Siloam Bible Institute. I work with Karen students from villages in Thailand who are stretch-ing forward themselves, many just as far out of their comfort zones as I am, because they sense the call of God on their lives. Together with my students, we continue to stretch forward.
