Highlights

READissance Luncheon. Dec. 9th

During the fall semester of 2011, 155 students participated in READissance. Forty-five students read 9 or more books and were invited to enjoy pizza, cake, and socializing during lunch. Three coveted door prizes were given away and the top readers for each grade level were recognized.

Senior Project Presentations, Dec. 5th – 6th

Once again Mrs. Broome’s English IV students presentedtheir senior projects using Library Teaching Area One with the Promethean Board. Visitors were invited to judge thepresentations which covered a wide range of topics. Studentswere well-prepared and all seemed to enjoy themselves.

End of Course Tests, Dec. 7th – 9th

Once again, the library’s computer rooms were used to administer EOC tests. In preparation for the tests, Mrs. Bolt also used the computer rooms to provide instructions for classes taking the tests.

Bullldog Booklovers Club Meeting, Dec. 8th Twenty-seven students and teachers gathered at 3:30 in the library to share books they would recommend other club members read over the holiday break. January’s book club picks were announced and students got the opportunity to check out a new shipment of books.
