The Cypress’ Own “Antiques Roadshow” Thursday, January 26, 2017 7:30 pm Community Hall Reid Dunavant is a Tennessee native who began a career working with antiques at a young age. After many years in the business, his love for decorative arts led him to join DOYLE in New York where he ran the 19th and 20th Century Decorative Arts Department. Later he became director of the Washington, DC office. Reid travels throughout the United States, supervising estate appraisals, lecturing and working closely with DOYLE’s regional offices. He has shared his many years of experience as an appraiser on the PBS series Antiques Roadshow for over a decade. Reid will host a program on Thursday, January 26th here at The Cypress and on Friday he will be available for individual appraisal appointments. This year they are entering their 25th season. Festival of Lights attendees enjoy listening to festive tunes on the interactive musical displays in which the music is original compositions from the UNC School of the Arts Music Technology students. There will be over 80 displays along the route! Also, to make the show more eco-friendly and brighter, majority of all displays will now feature the low-energy LED Lights. Wine will be served on the bus ride to Tanglewood which is in Clemmons, NC. It is a 90 minute trip. Beginning with the opening handbell procession, the Hall will resound with songs from Silent Night to White Christmas, and from Deck the Hall to We Wish You a Merry Christmas. This is an audience participation program, fun for all who attend as we share in the Twelve Days of Christmas, Must Be Santa and the exciting rendition of Jingle Bells. Tanglewood Park's rolling countryside transforms every holiday season into a shimmering Winter Wonderland with more than a million twinkling lights aglow. This year they are entering their 25th

season. Festival of Lights attendees enjoy listening to festive tunes on the interactive musical displays in which the music is original compositions from the UNC School of the Arts Music Technology students. There will be over 80 displays along the route! Also, to make the show more eco-friendly and brighter, majority of all displays will now feature the low-energy LED Lights. "Chef's Table Social” with Chef Marc started in November and will continue for two Thursdays in December. Chef Marc will be attending the cocktail hour each Thursday from 5-6

pm in the Library. Wine will be $2.00 dollars a glass. A meal will be served at 6 pm in the Club Room for the first 40 people to sign up each week. The sign-up will be available at the Concierge desk the same time as the Monday sign-up. This event is not taking the place of Monday night, it is in addition.
