TCT Scholarships Now OpenTCT would like to announce that we have several scholarship opportuni es now

open and available on TCT’s website at tctelco.net/scholarships. The TCT Board of Directors Scholarship:This one-thousand dollar scholarship is awarded to six high school senior students

whose parents or legal guardians are members of the Associa on. One scholarship per TCT district is given, as well as one district at large scholarship.

Students must completely fi ll out the TCT Scholarship Applica on Form, including signatures from their school counselor, school principal and legal guardian, and return it to the TCT Business Offi ce, or mail it to TCT, A n: Scholarships, PO Box 299, Council Grove, KS 66846, by March 2, 2018.

Students must also have a GPA of 2.5 or higher and be planning to a end a four- year college, university, community college, or technical school in the fall of 2018. Winners will be selected in a random drawing. Scholarship winners will be required to a end TCT’s Annual Mee ng of Members for the offi cial presenta on of their scholarship, the evening of March 27, 2018 at the Herington Community Building.

Founda on for Rural Service Scholarship:The Founda on for Rural Service (FRS) off ers an annual college scholarship program

to help further higher educa on among rural youth. FRS awards a one- me $2,500 scholarship to students from rural America for their fi rst year of college, university or voca onal-technical school. TCT will only sponsor students whose parent(s) or guardian are an Associate Member of the TCT Coopera ve, non-TCT Coopera ve Members need not apply. TCT supplies $500 of the scholarship, with FRS funding $2,000 of the scholarship. The FRS College Scholarship Program seeks to encourage students to return to their rural communi es upon comple ng their educa on. Applica ons must be postmarked to FRS by March 1, 2018.

Wolgast “Christian Endeavor” ScholarshipThe Wolgast Memorial Scholarship is being off ered to students planning to a end

college during the 2018-2019 school year. This Scholarship is administered through the Wilsey Chris an Church and is in memory of Harvey and Ethel Wolgast, long me members of the Wilsey Community.

Students applying should either be a resident of Morris County (even if a ending school in another county), be a ending or have graduated from a high school in Morris county (even if they live in another county) or have been home-schooled in Morris county. Applicants must be ac ve in their church and have the goal of serving Christ though their college and post-college years.

Copies of the scholarship are available at your local church, your high school counselor’s offi ce, and Morris County Chamber of Commerce. The applica on form should include a le er from a pastor, a le er from counselor/friend, a current photograph and a school transcript.
