    Te Valley County Girl Scouts wereexcited to share with the communitythis holiday season, taking their ValleyCounty Combined Campaign unds topurchase $3,000 worth o groceries or20 amilies and 11 senior citizens.

    Boxes o ood were delivered toHinsdale, Glasgow, St. Marie, Nashuaand Fort Peck.

    Te Girl Scouts bought ood romNovember 1st through December 15th.Once the gif baskets were assembled,there was enough in each package toprovide about two weeks o meals or allthose receiving them.

    he Valley County Girl Scoutswould like to thank everyonewho donated to them through theCombined Campaign it would nothave been possible without it. Re ynoldsdid a antastic job in helping out withthe case lot sales, Shopko made surethere were enough candy canes or all

    the boxes, and Albertsons did a bang-up job with their help in orderinggroceries and with the last-minuteitems that needed to be ordered.

    Te Girl Scouts would also like tothank reasure rail Meat Processingor storing the turkeys and rerigeratingthe cold ood until it was time to put theboxes together. And last but not least,Sara Storkson and Andy Newton storedood in their basement and let the GirlScouts put the boxes together there.Andy even let them use his pickup todeliver the goods.

    Tis has been a lot o work but well

    worth it. Te girls involved in deliveringreceived lots o hugs, kisses rom therecipients, and even tears were shed inthe touching moments.

    Te Valley County Girl Scouts areanticipating to do this project again nextholiday season and hoping to delivereven more boxes!
