With Anna – Akshara – Aarogya as core themes,
Adamya Chetana has enhanced Nourishment,
Learning and Health
of thousands of underprivileged children
What started off as a small effort, has today taken a
mammoth form and has benefited lakhs of children
across thousands of schools
Our Chief Patron Shri AnanthKumar's visionary leadership and direction coupled with our chairperson, Dr. Tejaswini's unlimited energy, eye for details, meticulous planning and
execution has made
Adamya Chetana
a social movement that is unique in the country
As a not-for-profit organisation, Adamya
Chetana feeds over 2 lakh under-privileged,
needy school children with Government
support. The hot nutritious midday meals are
hygienically prepared at well equipped
kitchens in Bengaluru, Hubballi-Dharwad,
Kalaburgi, Ranebennur and Jodhpur.
With an innovative and path breaking approach,
Adamya Chetana's Midday meal program has
become a role model for other Midday meal
providers across the country. This has been
appreciated gratefully by thousands of parents,
children, teachers & the public at large.
We collect feedback from
each of the schools
everyday, analyse & take
corrective & preventive
actions.

Project: “Aata Paatha" (play – learn)
The uniqueness of this program is that
a mobile unit, fitted with educational
gadgets like computers, sports
equipments, costumes for drama,
teaching aids, books, drawing & paint
material, audio visual equipments, etc.,
visits different schools situated in
slums of Bengaluru making teaching-
learning a fun experience
Adamya Chetana as a torchbearer has created a number of unique
interventions that are replicable and first of its kind in the country. One such
step is "Chinnara Chetana" - the Wall magazine of Adamya Chetana.
This colourful monthly wall magazine brings colour to the otherwise drab
walls of Government schools.
Arogya Chetana, a program focused on providing health cover to the
school children was inaugurated by
Dr. APJ Abdul Kalam
benefiting thousands of school children, providing them hospitalization
cover at practically zero cost. This program has a potential to cover
