Research has shown:
The claim that 100% of charter school students graduate and attend
college is misleading.
A high percentage of students who enroll in charter schools do not
complete their education and graduate from the charter.
IDEA (District) – Class of 2016 cohort lost at-least 27% from 8th to
12th grade.

are not successful in college.

class of 2015, who enrolled in
a Texas four year public
university, earned less than a
2.5 GPA (32% less than 2.0)
Only 31% earned a 3.0 or
better.
45% of Socorro ISD graduates
earned a 3.0 or higher
