SIA is part of the Jefferson Awards Foundation. The three main pillars of SIA is LEADERSHIP, ENGAGEMENT, and IMPACT. Here at Wando, we have adapted SIA as a way to unite our school so we can better support our own clubs' goals and initiatives.
Students in Action is made up of representatives from any club at Wando that participates in community service. We meet once a month to discuss each clubs' future fundraising events, any community service events in the community that need help, acknowledge students are showing outstanding service, etc. We create a newsletter for that month and decide on a Service Leader for the previous month. We talk about ways we can support each other to unite all of our efforts to build a positive community.
If this organization at Wando is something you want to be a part of, please contact us! Information below.
