“Role of EUS-ERCP Interface in a case of Recurrent
Acute Pancreatitis”

· A 29 yrs male patient had h/o three episodes of acute pancreatitis in setting of Gall Stone Disease.
· Routine radiological imaging showed dilated CBD and were inconclusive.
· EUS was considered which showed a hypoechoic lesion in the intra ampullary portion of CBD.
· In view of mild LFT abnormality, ERC was performed and after sphincterotomy the lesion protruded out of
ampulla of vater. Biopsy confirmed benign adenoma of the intra ampullary portion of CBD
· Patient has undergone biliary stenting followed by Laparoscopic Cholecystectomy.
· Now planning ampullectomy on follow up Endotherapy.
· EUS - ERCP Interface allowed us the most scientific management of this case.
