Definition of the W-I-S-E:

W – Witness for Christ - Mark 16:15

I – Integrity before God and man – Acts 24:16

S – Saved from sin – Matthew 1:21

E – Earnestly contending for the faith – Jude 3

Important facts for the wise:

- Soul winning is God’s plan to bring the lost sinners to Christ through salvation (Jn 6:37)

- Someone, somewhere is always ready to be saved (Jn 4:35).

- Most believers are not soul winners because they have no burden for the souls

- The only happy life that counts here on earth and in eternity is that given to the salvation of souls.

- The most important element in soul winning is the life of the of the soul winner (attracting or distracting others from Christ).

N – Nature of Christ – 2 Peter 1:4

As I was ad dress ing a large com pa ny of work ing men one hot Au gust ev en ing, the thought kept forc ing it self up on my mind that some mo ther’s boy must be res cued that ve ry night or per haps not at all.
