Steve graduated from Millar College of the Bible and

went into pastoral ministry serving in P.E.I., as well as the

McDiarmid Alliance Church in Brandon and the Trans-

cona Alliance Church in Winnipeg. Steve is married to

Sarah and they have three children. Steve’s passion is to

preach and teach God’s truth — seeing people embrace

Jesus as their greatest sa.sfac.on and treasure. Steve

will be presen.ng a series of DEEPER life messages at

Trailview on Sunday morning, January 15 (both services)

as well as Sunday—Tuesday evenings (15-17) at 7 p.m.

The Plewis Family welcomed a new bouncing boy to

their family. Toby Jack was born on December 28th

to Erynn & Mark. Campbell and Sawyer are eager big brothers and will surely teach Toby survival skills for this world! We congratulate the family and pray God’s blessing upon them.

♦ Let us spend much .me in prayer this week pre-paring our hearts for God’s spirit to work through the messages we hear during the “Deeper Life Mee.ngs”. Be in prayer for Steve Janz—that he would be sensi.ve and obedient to God’s spirit in proclaiming the messages God wants us hear. Pray that we would not be hindered from coming

to the mee.ngs but that they would become a priority to us. ♦ Please remember the sick and shut-ins. Pray that

they would know the healing and comfor.ng pres-ence of God.

♦ Be in prayer for our annual mee.ng and the deci-sions that are made there. Ask that God would lead and direct us in selec.ng people for the posi-.ons that are open. Pray that God would give us much wisdom in the direc.on that He wants to take the church in. Pray that we as a congrega.on would know the unity of the Spirit.

♦ Pray for the civic leaders in our community—for Mayor Jerrod Schafer, Councillor George Bowditch, Councillor Gord Budd, Councillor Tim Burgera, Councillor Dan Martens, Councillor Denis Perrault, and Councillor Ryan Plewis. As these members establish policy and set direc.on, let us pray that they do so with the values that our country was founded upon. Pray that these men would seek and know the counsel of God.
