Jesus is seated at the right hand of the Father far above all rule and authority, power and dominion, and every name that is invoked, not only in this present age but in the age to come (Ephesians 1:21).

We are seated with Christ in the heavenly realms and thus in a position of authority.

Authority is the right to represent power.

We represent the power of the kingdom of heaven.

• God is sovereign. Therefore, demons must get permission to do what they do.

• Demons have certain permissions because of the fall.

• Demons have other permissions because of divine decree (Job, Peter).

• Demons have other permissions because we give it to them.

• Demons can be given permission to inhabit specific territories or objects.

Institutional

• Demons can be given permission to inhabit institutions when things are done that invite them there.

• Demons can be given permission to inhabit people when they do things that invite them in.
